The History and Turning Point of Georges Khoury & Co.
In 1937, Georges Khoury & Co. was founded. The company was established by Georges Nicholas Khoury in partnership with the Pharaon family. Originally focused on construction material, the company expanded its expertise to include sanitary, heating and plumbing services in the 1960s. In the coming years it became the sector’s largest wholesaler in the Levant. A handful of employees grew to 160, with company offices spanning Beirut, Erbil, Baghdad, Damascus and Lattakia.

Today, the company continues its legacy as Kore.
